Beginner Level 2

Celebrate the quiet magic of late winter with this enchanting Snowdrop Flower needle felting wool ball ornament class. Inspired by one of the very first flowers to bravely peek through the snow, this delicate yet hopeful design captures the beauty of new beginnings in wool.

In this step-by-step online video class, you’ll transform a smooth wool ball into a serene winter scene, featuring graceful white snowdrop blossoms emerging against a soft seasonal background. Snowdrops are tiny but resilient — often blooming while snow still lingers — and this ornament reflects that gentle strength and promise of spring just around the corner.

You’ll learn how to create elegant, drooping petals, shape slender green stems, and arrange your design so it flows naturally around the curved surface of the wool ball. Subtle color layering and careful placement bring dimension and life to this peaceful floral piece.

Perfect for beginners and beyond, this project is both calming and meaningful — a lovely reminder that even in the coldest season, something beautiful is preparing to bloom.

Your finished Snowdrop wool ball ornament makes a thoughtful winter decoration, a symbol of hope, or a heartfelt handmade gift for gardeners and flower lovers alike.
