Welcome to my world, where wool and exotic fibers come to life through needle & Wet felting — my passion, my art, and my joy.

a self-taught fiber artist who brings her imagination to life through intricate creations of needle- and wet-felted art pieces like ball ornaments, life-like animals, and other figures. I have been working with wool fiber for the past 40 years, first in doll-making and later wet- and needle-felting.

Not only am I an artist, but I'm also a teacher, eager to share my techniques and knowledge with fellow enthusiasts. Whether through online classes or in-person workshops, I guide my students through the mesmerizing process of sculpting and shaping wool fibers, empowering them to unlock their own creative potential.

Little things about me

Family is everything

My husband and I married young—me at 17, him at 19—and together we’ve raised three amazing children. So far, they’ve given us six wonderful grandchildren, who fill our lives with joy. They truly are the heart of everything we do.

A slow morning kind of person

I genuinely enjoy sleeping until I wake up, letting each day start gently and naturally.

Audiobook enthusiast

I love getting lost in stories and always have an audiobook going, whether I’m felting, gardening, or just relaxing.

Not a social media fan

I prefer creating with my hands over creating content for social media—though I love sharing the results with others.

Animal lover through and through

My heart is full of all my farm animals—two donkeys, one horse, three sheep, 45 hens, one rooster, three dogs, and two cats. They each bring joy, laughter, and plenty of character to my days. However, hot, humid summers and cold, freezing winters are challenging.

Living with MS

I have multiple sclerosis, and over the years, I’ve found that slowing down, listening to my body, and embracing creativity has made all the difference. I’m convinced that working with my hands and creating with intention has helped slow the progression of the disease while bringing joy and focus to my life.

Felter’s Flock is a place where needle felting becomes more than a craft—it becomes a rhythm of calm, creativity, and connection. After decades of working with wool and a later diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, I’ve come to believe that creating with my hands has played a meaningful role in slowing its progression. Here, I share that same gentle, restorative practice with others.

For as long as I can remember, working with wool—doll making, needle-felting, wet-felting, and shaping fibers—has been a source of joy and focus. Felting became a quiet companion over the years, offering moments of mindfulness and satisfaction that no other activity could provide. That steady, tactile practice has shaped not only the art I create, but also the way I experience life.

Felter’s Flock was created to bring this experience to a larger community. Inside, you’ll find step-by-step needle felting classes, beginner-friendly tutorials, and thoughtfully designed projects that invite you to slow down, enjoy the process, and celebrate each little victory along the way. Every lesson is designed to make wool art approachable, inspiring, and deeply satisfying.

But Felter’s Flock is more than just a collection of classes—it’s a gathering place. A space where creativity connects people, where questions are welcomed, and where shared experiences deepen the love of this craft. Whether you are just starting or have years of felting under your belt, you’ll find support, inspiration, and a gentle reminder of the joy of making something by hand.

Here, we honor the process as much as the result. Each project is an opportunity to explore, experiment, and experience the calming rhythm of felting—an art that has quietly shaped my life and now touches the lives of so many others.

I might be an introvert

but I love to share my Art

Family has always been at the heart of my world. My husband and I married young—me at 17, him at 19—and together we’ve raised three incredible children. They’ve given us six wonderful grandchildren, who fill my days with laughter, love, and endless joy.

I start most mornings slowly, letting myself wake naturally, and enjoying a couple of cups of coffee before I can fully function. Stories have always been a companion to my creativity, whether I’m felting, gardening, or simply enjoying quiet moments. While I’m not much for creating social media content, I love sharing the finished pieces of my work and the stories they carry. My home and heart are full of animals—two donkeys, one horse, three sheep, 45 hens, a rooster, three dogs, and two cats—each one bringing character, comfort, and a little chaos in the best way.

I live with multiple sclerosis, and it has taught me to listen closely to my body, to slow down, and to treasure small, meaningful moments. I truly believe that embracing creativity and working with my hands has helped slow the progression of the disease, while filling my life with focus, calm, and joy.

Through it all, making felted stories, handmade creations, and gentle moments of connection reminds me that life’s beauty is often found in the layers we build slowly, one loving touch at a time.
